Why is Eonil a Dark Fantasy Setting?

Eonil is considered dark fantasy because it explores morally complex themes such as power, faith, trauma, and survival, where actions have lasting consequences. While moments of warmth, kindness, and hope exist, they are never free of cost. Violence and harm are treated with restraint and purpose rather than spectacle, and the most dangerous “monsters” in Eonil are often people or systems rather than creatures.
