*Warning* This page contains spoilers for the Forbidden Fruit story.

No surviving records of Neri’Va exist in present-day Eonil.

Her name, actions, and fate are not preserved in any known archive.

This entry exists for reader reference only.

Overview

Neri’Va was a High Elf novice priestess of Quintra active during the final weeks of the Second Era, shortly before the onset of the Age of Darkness.

She died during the destruction of a Temple of Quintra in a Denday-aligned incursion that took place as divine authority fractured across Eonil. Her death was not recorded by name and left no trace in historical accounts.

Identity

  • Race: High Elf
  • Affiliation: Temple of Quintra (Novice)
  • Era: Late Second Era
  • Status: Deceased
  • Historical Record: None

Appearance

Neri’Va was pale-skinned with long platinum-blonde hair, typically worn in a simple braid. She wore the cream-and-gold robes of a Quintran novice priestess. Her features and bearing were unremarkable by historical standards.

Personality

Neri’Va was compassionate, introspective, and quietly resolute. Though raised within Quintran doctrine, she showed empathy toward those condemned by religious absolutism and questioned rigid divisions between Light and Dark.

She was not rebellious, nor politically motivated.

Notable Association

  • Rayven — Paladin of Denday

Their relationship was secret and had no public visibility or historical consequence. It is known only through narrative perspective and Rayven’s memory.

The Forbidden Fruit

Neri’Va entered Denday-aligned woodland to gather Denday Berries in an attempt to save a poisoned villager. This act led to her meeting Rayven and initiated a concealed relationship that unfolded during the final instability of the Second Era.

Death

Neri’Va was mortally wounded during the violent assault on a Temple of Quintra at the threshold of the Age of Darkness. During the event, her connection to Quintra was severed. She died shortly after, in Rayven’s presence.

Her body was not distinguished from other casualties. No marker or burial record survives.

Legacy

Neri’Va has no historical legacy.

She is not remembered by:

  • the Temple of Quintra
  • the village
  • later faith traditions
  • Second- or later-era records

Her existence persists only in Rayven’s memory and in the narrative itself.

Narrative Function

Neri’Va represents:

  • the personal cost of the Light’s collapse
  • love erased by history
  • the quiet tragedies buried beneath era transitions

Her story marks the emotional beginning of the Age of Darkness, not through prophecy or record, but through loss.
